Biography
Dr. Waraich is a physician licensed to practice medicine in the province of British Columbia with specialty certification in psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He has worked as a consultation-liaison, emergency, inpatient and outpatient psychiatrist at Burnaby Hospital for 15 years as well as in private practice. In these roles he is involved in the assessment and treatment of patients with acute and chronic mental health difficulties including anxiety, mood, somatic, cognitive, psychotic and substance misuse disorders. He maintains academic appointments with the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University.
