Biography

Dr. Lazar qualified as a physician from the University of Manitoba in 1996 and as a Fellow from the University of British Columbia in 2001. She has been licensed with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia since 2001 and has been a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada since 2001. Dr. Lazar was awarded subspecialty recognition in 2013 by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

In addition to working as a clinical instructor of psychiatry at the University of British Columbia, Dr. Lazar is the Medical Director of the Inpatient Child Psychiatry Unit at BC Children’s Hospital where she assesses and treats children, youth and their parents.
