Sophie grew up in Pemberton, BC, spending her winters skiing in Whistler. She attended French school until grade 7 and has fond memories of baking with her mom and skiing with her dad. Sophie loves music, movies, podcasts and books, and her morkie, Gatsby, is her favourite little guy in the whole wide world.
With her excellent communication and people skills Sophie enjoys providing exceptional customer service alongside her team members. She is a problem solver with an eye for detail and a knack for coordinating and scheduling. Sophie has a positive attitude and great enthusiasm for her work.
Animal rights and well-being are very meaningful to Sophie, and she has participated in the Paws for a Cause initiative. She has had family members pass away from cancer, and she has participated in the Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life to support cancer research. Sophie is also passionate about mental health: she is a believer in the Bell Let’s Talk Day and is an advocate for mental health initiatives in the workplace.
Sophie participated in the 2010 Olympics and Paralympics as an athlete escort and medal/flower bearer. Her younger brother is on the Canadian team for mogul skiing.
Sophie worked for the television show First Dates Canada, was involved in the 2018 JUNO Awards and was the volunteer coordinator for Vancouver Fashion Week in 2016.
